I'm an individual cabinetmaker & artist producing handmade bookcases and kitchens in painted timber. My work is particularly suited to those who prefer not to use manufactured units in a period home.
I do all the work myself from drawings to fitting and hand-painting. There are no plinths or units, no machines or employees, and no mdf. I make to measure using traditional joinery methods (mortise-and-tenon joints) in the time-honoured way. Think how an original fitted dresser looks in a Victorian or Georgian home - no boxes with doors hung on them, just strong frames with doors planed to fit exactly inside them, and shelving scribed to the shape of the wall or alcove.
I'm the only person working in this way so the cabinets become part of the architecture.
I'm based in West London but have built kitchens across the south of England since 1981.
